Recent Grants from the Providence Shelter
The Shelter has been granting funds for over fifty years. Initially we gave relatively large sums to help establish a few agencies such as the Mount Hope Day Care Center; more recently we have “spread the wealth” by giving smaller sums to a wide range of non-profit organizations. Grants are generally between $1,000 and $5,000.
